Rooftop Drone Techs is a small, owner-operated drone roof inspection service in the Greater Toronto Area. One service, done well, delivered reliably.
Two co-owners, complementary strengths
Rooftop Drone Techs was started by a father and son team. One brings a long career in technology and IT - the systems, the booking infrastructure, the AI-assisted reporting workflow. The other brings the in-person sales experience and operational discipline that keeps a service business running on time and on promise.
We launched this business because we saw a real gap in the GTA market: roofing contractors and property managers wanted reliable, fast, well-presented aerial inspections, and most options were either expensive enterprise outfits or freelance pilots with inconsistent output. We built something in between - professional-grade work, fair pricing, and the kind of communication you'd expect from a partner, not a vendor.
One service, every time
We don't try to be a roofing company, a home-inspection firm, or a software platform. We do one thing: drone-based roof inspections delivered as 4K aerial imagery, a physical SD card, and a structured PDF condition report drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by an owner before you see it.
The same package goes out for every customer - whether you're a homeowner doing pre-purchase due diligence, a roofing contractor scoping ten jobs a month, or a property manager surveying a portfolio. The price scales with the property size; the quality of the work doesn't.

Roof inspections from the air are safer, faster, and more thorough than ladder work. There's no fall risk, no scuff marks on shingles, no wasted hours moving ladders around. A drone covers every slope in a single flight and captures imagery a person on a ladder physically can't reach.
Most roofing contractors and property managers already expect drone documentation as a baseline today. Insurance adjusters increasingly accept it. Real estate agents use it to differentiate listings. Our job is to deliver that documentation reliably, at fair pricing, with a report your client can actually understand.

We're not the cheapest option in the GTA, and we're not trying to be. We're trying to be the option you can actually depend on:
- Every booking kept. If we confirm a time, we show up. Weather reschedules are free.
- Every report reviewed. No raw AI output goes out the door. An owner reads the report, checks the imagery, and signs off before you see it.
- Every commitment honoured. 48-hour turnaround means 48 hours. Rush means 24. If we can't hit a deadline, we tell you immediately, not after.
